BIBLE: A COMPARISON (2)

(From Islamic point of Views)

In Islam; based on Al-Qur’an, this obscene thing had called as zina (adultery). Zina is forbidden in Islam, and it has a hard punishment. This had stated in Al-Qur’an Surah (QS) An-Nisa’ 4: 15,23.

QS, An-Nisa’, 4: 15; “If any of your women are guilty of lewdness, take evidence of four (reliable) witnesses from amongst you against them; and if they testify, confine them to houses until death do claim them, or God ordain for them some (other) way.”
QS,An-Nisa’, 4: 23; “Prohibited to you (for marriage) are – your mothers, daughters, sisters; father’s sisters, mother’s sisters; brother’s daughters, sister’s daughters; foster-mothers (who gave you suck), foster-sisters; your wives’ mothers; your step daughters under your guardianship, born of your wives to whom ye have gone in, - no prohibition if ye have not gone in; - (those who have been) wives of your sons proceeding from your loins; and two sisters in wedlock at one and the same time, except for what is past; for God is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful;"

Beside these verses, have much more the surahs that describes about the Zina and marriage, such as QS An-Nur 24: 2-4, 6-9, QS Al-Furqan 25: 68 and QS Al-Mumtahanah 60: 12. All these surahs carried a lot of meaningful lessons to practice in our everyday life as people that full with dignity and high social life.
What is the normal lesson inside the Bible on the obscene element and compared to Al-Qur’an that the limitation in everything aspects in our life through all the times and conditions.
In consideration to divide which one is the word from the God between al-Qura’an and Bible, we will choose to the truth of high moral value as the word of Allah. If the Bible is the word of God, of course it has changed by someone. If that so, who had changed it? We will continue tomorrow.

BIBLE: A CONSIDERATION (1)

(From is Islamic point of Views)

Is it this is the words from Allah?

Bible is the holy book to Christian. Its has appreciated as the word’s from Allah, but inside it have a lot of Obscene aspects. This can’t be found in Al-Qura’an, the holy book for the Muslim’s. Had this is changed by the hand of Man? We can see with carefully as A CONSIDERATION.

Genesis 19: 30-36 that had tell about Lot. He has two daughters. His first daughter was given him an alcohol so that he get drunk and influence him to make a sex with her. On the second night this thing happens to his second daughter. This thing has done until the daughters get birth for the forbid child. Is it true this happen to the Lot as the God Messengers?

Genesis 35: 22 had tell about the first son of Jacob, Reuben that was making a sex with his step mother, Bilhah and Jacob had noticed about this thing but he never getting angry.

Genesis 38: 6-8 has tell about the fathers in law, (Judah) had ordered his sons Onan and Shelah making a sex with they sisters in law (Tammar) after their brother (Er, Judah first child) died. Judah is the brother to Joseph son of Jacob.

Genesis 19-30 in this text had tell about the father in law (Judah) making a sex with his daughter in law, Tammar (his son ex-wife, Reuben), from this, they get two forbid sons Peres and Zerah that said as the descendents of Jesus Christ?

2 Samuels 13: 5-14 tell about Amnon, one of David sons, had rape his sisters; Tamar.

2 Samuel 16: 21-23 tell about Absalom, one of David sons too. He had set up one camp in the castle floor, and he had lay down his father’s concubines then rape them one by one.

There a more the obscene citation that exist in Bible, such as in Bible Proverbs 7: 7-22, Song of Songs 1: 12-13, 3: 1-4, 4: 1-7 and Judges 16: 1, Ezekkial 23: 1-35, Ezekiel 16: 23-24.

The question to be concern on this citation is what verse in the Holy Bible which is believed to be the words of Allah through Jesus if it’s so obscene. Is it the words that changed by people? For this you can decide it yourself!

MUHAMMAD s.a.w. OR JESUS (3)

(From Islamic point of views)
(continuation from 08/28/2006)

2. The next words from Allah to Moses
Allah had said (Deuteronomy 18: 19): “if anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.”
“My words that the prophet speaks in my name…” This had proven in al-Qura’an, where every chapter had begun with their word, “In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.” This word had stated from surah (chapter) 1-114, except 9th surah (At-Taubah). This surah have it own secret, which is its not begin with the name of Allah. As copy, the Christian (Bible) has begin with the word “in the name of the father, son and my holy ghost.” Is it this is an addition?

3. The latest research was support the man who are same with Moses characters is referred to Muhammad s.a.w.
Bible in New Testament; Matthew 7: 17-20 had explain that every the good tree will produce a good fruit, while the bad tree will produce the worst fruits. From the fruit we can know about the tree.

Ahmad Deedat, has give his opinion which is mean; if to know the good of Islam, we must know Islam itself. There has proven that is a perfect religion, it completed all the past religion. It’s not surprised if the modern research has confess about the personal of Muhammad s.a.w. Based on the research the gist of Islam that spread by Muhammad had absorb by his soul that influence his personality and characters.

The Best.

“Time” magazine, 15th July 1974, had doing a research to get a various people’s opinion about “Who was History’s Great Leader?” For this case, Jules Masserman the psychoanalyst had state three criteria. It is first; built the facilities and service to the people that lead by him. Second, create an social institution that can gife a safety warranty to their people and the third is create one set of faith. Based on these criteria, only the prophet of Muhammad and Moses can full fill all this criteria. Rev James L. Dow in Collins Dictionary of Bible too has said that Jesus is not same with Moses, but Muhummad (Prophet of Muhammad s.a.w.) are same with Moses.

As a conclusion, it is clear what had state in Deuteronomy 18: 18 which is its not referred to Jesus but it predict the Man as prophet of Muhammad s.a.w.

MUHAMMAD s.a.w. OR JESUS (2)

((From Islamic point of views)
(continuation from 08/25/06)

vi. Moses and Muhammad has a birth and died as natural, but Jesus had a miracle birth; without father. The creation of Jesus not through the process of mixing the sperm and ovum but Allah had sent a Holy spirit (Al-Qura’an the angle of Jibrail) to make Mary pregnant and getting birth to Jesus. (Luke 1: 34-38 had approve this statement).

vii The body of Moses and Muhammad had buried but followed to the Christian, Jesus has pass to the heaven.

Beside that have 3 more category have proven the Old Testament statement; Deuteronomy 18: 18 that state, there will exist the prophet same as Moses, but he is definitely not refer to Jesus, but that prediction accurately refer to Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.
First, Moses is not the God; the Christian said Jesus is the God, Son of God and Holy spirit (Triniti).
Secondly, Jesus had died because to redeem the sin, but Moses and Muhammad has died as natural, not for redeem the sin.
Third; followed to the Christian, they believe that Jesus had reach to the Hell in that three days, but Moses and Muhammad does not forever go to the Hell.

c) Will put my words in his mouth will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
Bible Isaiah 29: 12 (King James Version) “Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, “Read this, please,” he will answer, “I don’t know how to read.”
This statement is accurately describe Muhammad s.a.w. personality before he had appointed as the prophet, which is he can’t read or write. Allah s.w.t. has send Jibrail to Muhammad at Hira’ cave (610M), that order to Muhammad with said “Read”, but Muhammad has reply “I can’t read”. Finally, Jibrail read to Muhammad the Iqra’ verse. Every message (wahyu) that receive through the angle of Jibrail will repeated one by one by him..(Al-Qura’an 96: 1-5 and 112: 1-4)

MUHAMMAD s.a.w. OR JESUS (1)

(From Islamic point of views)

1. Allah have said to Moses; I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. (Deuteronomy 18: 18)

Based on this context, the Muslim’s “prophet” that said by Allah to Moses is referring to prophet of Muhammad s.a.w, but for the Christian they acknowledge that “prophet” is referring to Jesus. To make it clear, we can focus on this fact:

a) From among their brethren,

The Arabs and Jews have a same descendent. Abraham has two sons, Ismail with Siti Hajar the second wife and Isaac with Siti Sarah(Sarai), his first wife. The descendent of Ismail is from the Arab,s race. The Jewish for this time begin from descendent of Isaac. Ismail and Isaac is siblings but they have a different mother.

b) Muhammad s.a.w. are same with Moses, (like unto thee), this is can see on these aspect’s:

i. Muhammad have a parent same as Moses. Aminah binti Wahab bin Abdul Manaf is Muhammad mother, and Abdullah bin Abdul Mutalib his father. Moses, his father is Imran.

ii. Moses has get married and his have a child, and it happen to Muhammad, which is he had get married and having a child. While Jesus did not married anybody (according to Bibles).

iii. Moses are accepted by his disciples, Muhammad too had recognition from his disciples. While Jesus is rejected by his disciples, and the worst is they are trying to crucify him.

iv. Beside as a main duty as a prophet Moses and Muhammad had appointed as the leader to rule (king) by their disciples. This is mean both of them have a power to punish the criminal until to death.

v. Moses and Muhammad had carried with them a new order from Allah. While Jesus had appointed by Allah s.w.t. to fix again the faith to believe to only One God. (Matthew 5: 17-18)

CHRISTIAN IS ONLY FOR ISRAELI (3)

(From Islamic point of views)

Have the Priest and Scientist’s Embrace to Islam?

Have many Christian Priests as well as Scientists that embrace to Islam. They become a Muslims with full of sincere based on their realization without extrinsic factors that influence by the material aspects. Have many the scholars from other religions become a Muslim when they know Islam is the perfect religion. This is almost happen in among the scholars of the religion mainly from among the priest and Christian Bishops. For example, Prof. Abdul-Ahad Dawud (1969). He was making a hard research about the Bible and Al-Qura’an. From his analysis, he found that the Bible had predict about the appearance of the last prophet, Muhammad s.a.w. Finally his had converted to Islam.
Interviewing with Lim Jo Soon (Malaysia, 2005), he had told that before embracing to Islam, he is the Christian Missionary for 13th years. After he watch a recordable of debate between Ahamd Deedat and a few of Preist, he can’t sleep for along the night. Starting that, he had studying about Islam religion, finally he had embracing to Islam. Now he is one of the active Islamic Propagator in Malaysia.
The Newspaper of Al-Riyad had reported that one of the Italian Christian Priest have converted to Islam because he had attracted to the moderate of Islam itself. He had been reported, that the main reason why he had converted to Islam, begin when he watch the cast of funeral ceremony of King Fahd; the Emperor of Saudi Arabia through the television on the early of August 2005. The funeral ceremony is very simple; in fact it is the royal funeral ceremony. The ceremony had been done at Al-Oud cemetery, the King body had been prayed with the other man body who died at the same time with his death. Then the both of bodies had buried at the same place. The modest of the Royal funeral had surprised him, and this make him changed his mind then he had converted to Islam.
Maurice Bucaille who wrote “ The Bible, The Qur’an and Science” ( The Holly Scriptures examined in the Light of Modern Knowledge), converted to Islam (1975) after he made throughly of comparative study : Islam- Christian in terms of moden knowledge.
So how about our beloved non-Muslim friends as intelligent readers of this short article? May be they want to know more about Islam. Is it OK? Al-Hamdulillah !

CHRISTIAN IS ONLY FOR ISRAEL (2)

(From Islamic point of views)

What had been discussed are clearly proven that Jesus had sent by Allah s.w.t. to continue the legacy of Moses which poses the “Taurat”/Torah, worship only to Allah s.w.t. and its only for the Israel people. However, the question had appeared here is, why Jesus had hunted by the Israel people? This question must be referring to the Israel history at that time. In the present time of Jesus, Israel had ruled by the Kingdom of Rome. Israel people had oppressed by the Rome Emperor. The existence of Jesus had giving a new hope to Jews people for solve their problems at that time. This had viewed in the book of Torah that had stated about the existence of a leader among them to lead his tribe, Israel.
The prediction by the book of Torah is correct, Jesus has exist but his mandate is not to take over the Rome Imperial, he had sent down just for inviting the Jews so that believe to the only One God, same with the Moses thought. When the Jews know that Jesus very proficient with his miracle but he doesn’t want to lead the Jews for the other aspects except to invite all of them to believe for only One God, the Jews became angry. Furthermore the teaching of Jesus also could spoil the economy of their rabbis (the religious leaders of the Jews). This makes them making a slander to destroy Jesus and his 12 students that represent 12 tribe of Israel at that time.
The Rome has used the Israel people to hunt Jesus that end with the crucifixion event. After the death of Jesus, two things obviously had appeared, it is about the Trinity and the Christian for all people in the world, this is had lead by its great commander; Paul and his group.

CHRISTIAN IS ONLY FOR ISRAEL (1)

(From Islamic point of views)

In the beginning, Christian religion is just for Israeli race only. Jesus had been sent down only for Israel and not for all races as occurred in this day. This reason is based on the Holy book of Christian itself, it can see as in the following facts:

i. Herodes, the King of Rome had surprised with the birth of Jesus (Matthew 2: 3). He asked the place of Jesus birth and the priest with the Jews “Taurat”/Torah (Old Testament) members told that Jesus getting birth at Betlehem. This is same what had state in the Taurat, that will rise a leader among the Israeli to lead the tribe itself (Matthew 2: 6)
ii. While Jesus sends his 12 disciples, he had advice with this word: These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans (5). Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel (6). (Matthew 10: 5-6).
iii. Jesus had refused to treat the daughter of Canaan woman, even she and his students had appeal to him. Jesus refuses that appeal with this reason, “Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us (23).” He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” (Matthew 15: 23-24). “The Lost Sheep” in this verse had referred to the Israeli people that disobey to the divinity of Allah s.w.t. the only one God.
iv. The students of Jesus have approved about the Christian is only for the Israeli people, it has stated with these words “Now those who had been scattered by the persecution in connection with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antinoch, telling the message only to Jews "(Acts 11: 19)

Why todaya Christians (Jesus’s taught?) for all people spread over the world? Let we think it together !

But in Al-Qur’aan Surah Al Akwir, 81:26-29 states that,
(26) “ When whither go ye? (27), verily this is no less than a Message to (all) the worlds (28) (with profit) to whoever among you wills to go straight: (29) But yee shall not will except as God wills – the Cherisher of the Worlds

TRINITY: A CONSIDERATION (3)

From Islamic Point of View

The confusion about the Trinity amongst Muslims and other religion followers are as follows:

While Jesus succeeds to cure the patient, his tribe surprised. And they getting respected to Israeli Allah s.w.t (Matthew 15: 31). In the Old Testament (Taurat), The God of Israel only one. Which is, how could he Christian said about the Trinity?
“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, Allah s.w.t is only our God” (Mark 12: 29). This is clear that the Trinity concept is doesn’t existed.
“Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him.” (Mark 12: 32). When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him,” You are not far from the Kingdom of the God.” And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions. (Mark 12: 34).
Mary had lay down his son, Jesus in the manger. (Luke 2: 7). Where is the logic, when Allah s.w.t. becomes three and one of it had placed on the manger?
Jesus said, “How can you believe if you accept praise from one another, yet make not effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only one God? (John 5: 44)
Paul said, “But the God only one.” (1 Corinthians 8: 6). In this statement Paul does not said the God is One in Three and Three in One, but God is One!

So why Trinity?

TRINITY: A CONSIDERATION (2)

(From Islamic Point of View)

The Holy divine concept that believed by the early Christian has been changed by the Church of Rome to be the Dogma of Trinity. Have many that created by the Ancient Egyptian that believed by Plato had accepted as the Christian Religion believes. May be the Hindu philosophy too had assimilated in Christian, which are the Hindus believe to three Gods: Brahma(Creator) Vishnu (Protector) and Shiva(Destroyer). In Trinity context, have many Christian disciples are confused with the Trinity concept. This had been one of significant factors why the Christian disciples believe to Islam in Malaysia (Dr. Nawi Jusoh, Why We Embrace to Islam? Kuala Lumpur, 2006 pg 75). Actually, this is the Paul effort that had exploited the status and the name of Jesus itself, which is stated that Jesus are same with the God, with said Jesus as the Son of God, God and The Holy Spirit: Three in One. (Dr. Roshan Enam, Follow Jesus or Follow Paul. Kuala Lumpur, 2001, pg 32-33). Paul has described Jesus with the following words:

“For in Him all the Fullness God was pleased to dwell.” (The Letter of Paul to the Colossians 1: 19)
“For in Him the whole fullness of diety dwells bodily.” (The Letter of Paul to the Colossians 2:9)
“Christ Jesus who, though existing in the form of God, did not consider His equality with God something to cling to,” (The Letter of Paul to the Philippians 2:6)

TRINITY: A CONSIDERATION (1)

(From Islamic Point of Views)

The meaning of Trinity is the God has exist in unity; son of God, Father of God and Holy Spirit (Jibrail). This Trinity has existed after the death of Jesus. Before Jesus, the thought from other prophet’s from the prophet of Adam, Idris, Noah, Abraham, David as well as Jesus, all of them carried the religion of Tauhid; that believe Allah s.w.t. as the only one God. The concept of Trinity does not ever exist in the time of Jesus but it has begun after the death of Jesus, and this has been too open when the Paul had been promoted it.
The existence of the Trinity concept is based on the poll in gathering place. This poll had been done by treat to take the mid way. This meant to create the greatest. Actually this to make the Polytheist (worship too many Gods), calm, and this is too to be fair to the monotheist (only believe to only one God). Because of that the concept of three in one and one in three has been created.
The existence of Trinity concept in the thought of Christian religion had begin almost 300 years after “the missing” of Jesus or had been said that crucifixion event by the Christian does not done in the Jesus time. This controversy that occurred at this time is between Arius and Athanasius. Arius has produce a Doctrine that Jesus as the human not the God, while Athanasius had make a Doctrine that state Jesus as the son of God. This is had derive the Rom Emperor, Constantine (he is not the Christian) make a gathering that known as Council of Nicea that attended by Christian figure’s on 325 AD. On the gathering, he (Constantine) had declared that Jesus as son of God. On 451 AD at the Council of ChalcedonI with Pope Approval, the Trinity concept has accepted as the Church official believes and every rejection of it accepted as deviant.

ISLAM = CHRISTIAN (7)

(From Islamic point of views)
…… continuation

Conclusion

Have a priest said that Islam are copied from Christian, but this is a mistake. This is because Islam had send down by Allah s.w.t to fix the thought of Allah s.w.t. that had sabotage by several people. This sabotage has stated in Al-Quran in 2: 76&79 “Behold! when they meet the man of Faith, they say: “We believe”: but when their meet each other in private, they say: “Shall you tell them what God has revealed to you, that they may engage you in argument about it before your Lord? (76)” “Then woe to those who write the book with their own hands, and then say: “This is from God,” to traffic with it for miserable price! – Woe to them for what their hands do write, and for the gain they make thereby.” (79).Secondly, Allah s.w.t. by Himself has describe that Islam is the continuously from the past religion; the religion of Prophet Abraham and prophet of Moses, because of this the similarity between the religion has occurred. The religion of Islam is the last religion that sent down by Allah to complete the past religion, Al-Qura’an :And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelations) (18), The Books of Abraham and Moses (19).” (QS, Al-A’la 87: 18-19). Al-Quran is a complete Book that can guide all Muslims life in whole aspect of life, and this is too can make Islam as a complete religion, QS, Al-Maidah, 5: 3 “…This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have choosen for you Islam as your religion.” .

ISLAM = CHRISTIAN (6)

(From Islamic point of views)

11. Clothes

Is very concern about the cloth among Muslims, they must wear the cloth that cover the whole body (aurat) and polite. Al-Qura’an has state about this aspect in 24: 30-31 “Say to the believing men that they should lower their graze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and God is well acquainted with all they do (30). And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and their guard modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their father, their husbands fathers, their sons, their husbands sons, their brothers or their brothers sons, or their sisters son, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servant free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! Turn ye all together towards God, that ye may attain Bliss.” Allah had describe in detail that what shouldn’t the women wear that can attract the male.
Bible too had said about this element in New Testament; Matthew 5: 27-28 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery (27). But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart (28).”
Islam has state 6 criteria about the “curtain” (Hijab). The criteria of curtain can see as follow:

i) The limitation of Aurat – the compulsory limit for the man is, he must cover his body from center of body to
the knee, however the woman must cover their whole body except the face and the hand.
ii) All Muslims must wear the loose cloth and not exposed the body.
iii) Muslims too not allowed wearing the transparent cloth that can see their skin inside the cloth.
iv) Islam not allowed its disciples wearing the “glamour” cloth that can attract the opponent gender,”
v) Islam prohibits it disciples wearing the cloth to look like their opponent gender.
vi) The clothed that show non-Islamic symbol such as the cross, skulls and etc.

Bible too had state about this aspects in Old Testament; Deuteronomy 22: 5 “A women must not wear a man clothing, nor a man wear woman clothing, for the LORD you God detest anyone who does this.” In New Testament too had state about this, it is in Timothy 2: 9 and Corinthians 11: 5-6.

ISLAM = CHRISTIAN (5)

(From Islamic point of views)
…. continuation

10. Food

Islam have limited the meal that can eaten, Al-Qura’an 5: 5 “This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. (Lawful unto you in marriage) are (not only) chaste woman among the People of the Book, revealed before your time, - when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues if any one reject faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good). (Al-Maidah 5: 5)
The verse about the food that can eaten by Muslim too can found in Al-Qura’an; 2: 173, 5: 3, 5: 145, 16: 115
In Old Testament; Leviticus 17: 15, had state that it prohibit the Christian disciples to eat the “dead” animal. This is too can found in Deuteronomy 14: 21 “Do not eat anything you find already dead. You may give it to an alien living in any of your towns, and he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner. But you are a people holy to the Lord your God. Do not cook a young goat in its mothers milk.”
Prohibition about the blood can found in Old Testament: Genesis 9: 4 “But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.” These prohibition too can found in Leviticus 17: 14, Deuteronomy 12: 16, Samuel 14: 33 and in New Testament; Acts: 15: 29.
The prohibition of pork clearly state in Old Testament; Leviticus 11: 7-8 “And the pig, though it has a split hoof completely divided, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you (7). You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.”
This forbidden too can be found in Deuteronomy 14: 8 and Isiah 65: 2-5 “The pig is also unclean; although it has a split hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses.” Beside that, all disciples are forbidden to eat the food that served for worship to idol ceremony except the food had served for the name of Allah, New Testament; Acts 15: 29 “You are to abstain from food scarified to idols, from the blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things.” And its too had state on Revelation 2: 14 “Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: You have people there who hold the reaching of Balaam, who thought Balak to entice the Israelites to sin by eating food scarified to idols and committing sexual immorality.”

ISLAM = CHRISTIAN (4)

(From Islamic point of views)

8. Hajj

Islam suggested to the disciples to full fill the Hajj almost once in their life, but this can be done if they have a ability to full fill this Hajj. This event is so important to create the global discipline friendship among the Muslims in the world. The Muslim that visited the Kaabah at Mecca is equal, no matter where are from, what is your skin color, what is your race, is you are poor or rich they all are same with the two white cloth.
Bible too have state about this element in Psalms 84: 4-7 “Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you (4). Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts in pilgrimage (5). As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools (6). They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion (7).”

9. Everyday Practices

Islam and Christian have a similarity in it disciple’s everyday practices. Islam prohibits its disciples drink the alcohol, gambling and etc. Al-Qura’an 5: 90 “O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones,[1] and (divination by arrows[2] are abomination, - of satan’s handwork; eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper.” (Al-Maidah 5: 90)
Bible in Old Testament; Proverbs 20: 1 too had described about this “Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whonever is led astray by them is not wise.” (Proverbs 20: 1). Ephesians 5: 18 too prohibit about this with using the phrase of advise and describe the effect of the practices.
It is not clear that Bible had prohibit it disciples to worship the idols as state in Al-Qura’an as above.
[1] The stones there referred to were stone altars or stone columns on which oil was poured for consecration, or slabs on which meat sacrificed to idols. Any idolatrous or superstitious practices are here condemned. The Arabic word ansab (translated here “stones”) were objects to worship, and were common in Arabia before Islam. See Renan, Historyof Israel, chapter iv, and Corpus Inscriptionum Semiticarum Part 1. p.154: Illustration Nos. 123 and 123 bis are Pheonician columns of that kin, found in Malta. [794]
[2] The arrows that referred to were used for the division of meat by a sort of lottery or raffle. But arrows were also used for divination, i.e for ascertaining lucky or unlucky moments, or learning the wishes of the heathen gods, as to whether men should undertake certain actions or not. All superstitions are condemned.

But arrows were also used for divination, i.e for ascertaining lucky or unlucky moments, or learning the wishes of the heathen gods, as to whether men should undertake certain actions or not. ISLAM = CHRISTIAN (3)

(From Islamic point of views)

4. Prayer

Al-Qura’an 20: 11, had said that Moses get the order from Allah s.w.t. to take off his shoes while he in the holy place “The Towi Wadi” for receive the 10 rule (the book of Taurat). The manner while in the holy place too, had state in Old Testament in Exodus 3:5 and New Testament; Acts 21-26. The Muslims in Islam too, must take of their shoes while entering the Mosque, but they can pray with their shoes, if it clean from the dirt (Abu Dawood, Vol. 1, The Book of Salaah, Chapter 240, Hadith no. 652-653). Ablutions is compulsory to Muslim’s while they want to pray (Al-Qura’an 5: 6); Bible too has state about this aspect in Old Testament: Exodus 40: 31-32 “And Moses and Aaron and his sons used it to wash their hands and feet (31), They washed whenever they entered the Tent of Meeting, or approached the altar, as the Lord commanded Moses (32).” Beside that, in New Testament: Acts 7: 33 also had a statement same as the Exodus.

5. Prostration

Prostration had state for 92 times in Al-Qura’an, a few of it had state in surah (Chapter) 3: 43 “O Mary! worship thy Lord devoutly: Prostrate theyself, and bow down.” (Ali Imran 3: 43) and 22: 77 bring the meaning of “O ye who believe! bow down, prostrate yourselves, and adore your Lord; and do good; that ye may prosper.” (Al-Hajj 22: 77).
Bible too have the prostration element, it is can found in Old Testament; Genesis 17: 3, “Abraham fell facedown, and God said to him, (17: 3). Numbers 20: 6, Joshua 5: 14 and in New Testament; Matthew 26: 39 also have this element.

ISLAM = CHRISTIAN (2)

(From Islamic point of views)

2. The Book

For now, we had known that only 4 books had given to the messengers, it is Old Testament (Taurat) had given to Moses (in Hebrew language), Psalm (Zabur) had given to David (in Qibti language) and Bible had given to Jesus (in Syarian language). This entire book is only to the Jews people. The forth book as the last and complete book has given to Muhammad s.a.w. (in Arabic language), al-Qura’an has send down to all human in this world, and it not only for one tribe and race. Al-Qura’an 2: 185 “...which was send down the Qura’an, as a guide to mandkind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (between right and wrong).”
Bible too, had said about the prophet of Muhammad s.a.w. in Old Testament – Deuteronomy 18: 18, Isaiah 29: 12, Song of Solomon 5: 16, New Testament John 16:7, 12: 14.

3. The Divinity

All Allah messengers have one similar concept; it is believe to Allah, the only One God. This is had state in Al-Qura’an 3: 64, 112: 1-4. Meanwhile, on the Old Testament it has same concept in al-Qura’an had state in Exodus 20: 25, and Deuteronomy 5: 7-9.
“Syirik” (alliance to Allah s.w.t.) is the sin that can't forgives by Allah as state in Al-Qura’an 4: 48 and 48: 116. For our new siblings (the Christian people), to avoid the “Syirik”, we must remember that Jesus not ever confess that he is the God. (The Old Testament – John 14: 28, 10:29, Matthew 12:28, Luke 11: 210, Luke 11:20, John 5:30 and Acts 2: 21)

ISLAM = CHRISTIAN (1)

If we concern, there is a lot of similarity between religion of Christian and Islam. The meaning of Islam itself carried the word of peaceful and prosperous. At the same too, the Muslims themselves bring the meaning of surrender and bow to Allah s.w.t. Jesus is the one of Allah messengers who had recognized and respected in Islam.
There are 11 important aspects to show the existing similarity between Islam and Christian. They are The Messengers, the Book, the Divinity, Prayer, Prostration, Alms, Fasting, Hajj, The Everyday Practices, Food and Clothes.

1. The Messenger’s

Allah s.w.t. had send down about 124,000 prophets to earth, and 313 messengers, from this amount of prophets and messengers, only 25 of them had state in al-Qura’an.
All of this name had list followed the chronology after by the several researcher’s, the prophets name as follow: Adam, Idris, Noah, Hud, Salih, Abraham, Lot, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Syu’ayb, Job, Dhu al Kifl, Moses, Aron, David, Solomon, Illias, Elisha, Jonas, Zakariya, John, Jesus and Muhammad s.a.w. All these messengers poses four characters inside themselves, they is, Genuine (Sidiq), Frank (Amanah), Reach (Tabligh), and Brilliant (Fatanah).
Allah s.w.t. have said that He had send down almost one messenger to all race and tribes in the world Al-Qura’an 35: 24 “Verily We have sent thee in truth, as bearer of glads tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past).” (Al-Fathir 35: 24).As we know for this moment, from 25 messengers, has 5 the almost important messenger’s (Ulul Azmi), they is Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad s.a.w. The proof had revealed that Moses is only sending to the Jews people. Jesus too, had send to the Jewish people who do not believe to the Moses thought, which is invited to all people of Jews to believe to Allah the only One God. Only Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. as the last messengers had send by Allah to all people in this world. This had explain in Al-Qura’an (QS) 34: 28 which is mean, “We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not”. This element is also in QS: 33: 40, and 21: 107.

IS IT JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS?

Have two surahs in al-Qur’an had state that Jesus are not die on the cross of crucifixion. The surah’s is:

Al-Qura’an, An-Nisa 4: 157-158 which means: “That they said (in boast), “We killed Christ Jesus the Son of Mary, the Messenger of God”; - but they killed him not, nor crucified him[1], but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not (157). Nay, God raised him up[2] unto Himself; and God is Exalted in Power, Wise(158).”

Surah Ali-Imran 3: 54-55 and 61 too had said that Jesus are not died on the cross.

The statement in the Bible of Luke has a similarity with al-Qura’an verse about the death of Jesus. Luke 24: 39-43:Look at my hands and my feet. It is myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have (39).” When he had said this, him showed his hands and feet (40)”. And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” (41). They give him a piece of broiled fish (42), and he took it and ate it in their presence (43).”

Al-Qura’an and Bible have a similarity on this aspect. The proof has revealed here, which Jesus had said that he is not dead, he is too not the ghost, and this is because the ghost do not poses a flesh and bone, while he poses it. Jesus too has asked about the food and he ate the food when it given to him. The question is, for what purpose our Christian friends to believed that Jesus died on the cross, while Jesus himself confesses that he is not die at the crucifixion.

[1] The end of the life of Jesus is as much involved in mystery as his birth, and indeed the greater part of his private life, except the three main years of his ministry. It is not profitable to discuss the many doubts and conjectures among the early Christian sects and among Muslim theologians. The Orthodox Christian Churches make it a cardinal point of their doctrine that his life was taken on the Cross, that he died and was buried, that on the third day he rose in the body with his wounds intact, and walked about and conversed, and ate with his disciples, and was afterwards taken up bodily to heaven. This is necessary for the theological doctrine of the blood sacrifice and vicarious atonement for sins, which is rejected by Islam. But some of the early Christians sect did not believe that Christ was killed on the Cross. The Basilidans believed that someone else was substituted for him. the Docetae held that Christ never had a real physical or natural body, but only an apparent or phantom body, and that his Crucifixion was only apparent, not real. The Marcionite Gospel (about A.C 138) denied that Jesus was born, and merely said that he appeared in human form. The Gospel of St. Barnabas supported the theory of substitution on the Cross. The Qur’anic teaching is that Christ was not crucified nor killed by the Jews, notwithstanding certain apparent circumstances which produced that illusion in the minds of some of his enemies; disputafions, doubts, and conjuctures on such matters are vain and that he was taken up to God.

[2] There is difference of opinion as to the exact interpretation of this verse. The words are: The Jews did not killed Jesus, but God raised him up (rafa’a) to Himself. One school holds that Jesus did not die the usual human death, but still lives in the body in heaven, which is the generally accepted Muslim view. Another holds that he did die (5:117) but not when he was supposed to be crucified, and that his being “raised up” unto God means that instead of being disgraced as a malefactor, as the Jews intended, he was on the contrary honoured by God as His Messenger.

JESUS REFUSED TO CRUCIFIED (2)

While On The Crucifixion

This is can see in Matthew 27:45-50

From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land (45). About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” – which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? (46)” When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah. (47)” Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put in on a stick, and offered it to Jesus to drink. (48) The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him. (49)” And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. (50)”

The similar statement about this topic too can found in Mark 15: 33-37.

JESUS WILLING TO CRUCIFY WITH SURRENDER ?

Luke 23: 46 “Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, his breathed his last.”

Clearly in Matthew 27: 45-50 and Mark 15: 33-37, Jesus are not willing he self to crucify. This is very opponent with Luke 23:46 that state Jesus are willing to crucify. Based on this statement, have two questions must be answered. First, which one is true on this category, is it Jesus willing or refuse to crucify? Second, the use of word Allah (“Eloi Eloi lama sabaktani”) this shown that there could be not Jesus had crucified on the cross, this is because, if Jesus had crucified on the cross, he would calling for his Father! Not "Eloi Eloi lama sabaktani”/Allah.

JESUS REFUSED TO CRUCIFIED (1)

Before crucifixion

We can find in Bible through these chapters as follow John 7: 19, 8: 37, 8: 44 and 19: 11.

John 7: 19 “Has not Moses given you the law? Yet no one of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me?”

John 8: 37 “I know you are Abraham’s descendent. Yet you are ready to kill me, because you have no room for my word.”

John 8: 44 “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there no truth in him. When he lies, his speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

John 19: 11 Jesus answered, “You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.”

The proof had revealed that Jesus has refused to the Christian doctrine about the Original Sin. For example, Jesus had invited his disciples to run away, when he saw his traitor come to him. The question is, if Jesus had visited by Allah to redeem the human Sin, as charge by the Paul in Galatins 1: 14, why, he invited his disciples to avoid themselves to see Him and leaving that place? Please refer to:

Matthew 26: 46, Mark 14: 22 which mean “Rise, let us go! Here comes my betrayer!”

Matthew 26:56 and Mark 14: 50 which mean “...Then everyone deserted him and fled.”

All Jesus disciples had run away when he had captured, except Judas, his student who had betrayed him. Judas came with the man with armed.

ORIGINAL SIN: Al-Qur’aan = Bibel ?

ORIGINAL SIN: Al-Qur’aan = Bibel ?

Almost four surah’s in al-Qura’an (Q) had against about the Original Sin that had believed by the Christian’s. For example in surah:

Q, An-Nisa’ 4:111 with mean:

“And if any one earns sin, he earns it against his own soul: for God is full of knowledge and wisdom.”

(An-Nisa’ 4:111)

Q, Al-Isra, 17:15

Who receiveth guidance, receiveth it for his own benefit: who goeth astray doth so to his own loss: no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another: nor would We visit with Our Wrath until We had sent a messenger (to give warning).

(Al-Isra 17:15)

Beside that, have a word in al-Qura’an (Q) that has state, who are earns the sin, its will be their responsible to carried. The word about the responsible of the sin had state in Q, Al-Baqarah 2: 35-39, 48, 62, 90, 134, 286 and Al-Faathir 35: 18.

Islam do not believed the sin of Prophet Adam had inherited by us. The sin of Prophet Adam and Eve had be both of their responsible, and they had been punished by Allah s.w.t. by send them down to the earth.

This statement has a similarity with the Bible as follow:

Jeremiah 30: 31 had explained “Instead, everyone will die for his own sin; whoever eats sour grapes – his own teeth will be set on edge.” Ezekiel 18:20 had explained too: “The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him.” Jesus had said to his disciples on Matthew 19:14: “Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Romans 2: 5-6 brought the meaning of: “But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed (5). God “will give to each person according to what he has done” (6).

Strictly, Al-Qur’an had state that the sins can’t inherit. Followed all these statements from Bible and al-Qur’an, is it should the Christian child must be baptized because of the Original Sin?

JESUS AS THE GOD MESSENGER

As refer to al-Qura’an, it has seven surah that described about this aspects; three of it is surah An-Nisa’ 4:171

O people of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of God aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a Messenger of God, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in God and His Messengers, Say not “Trinity”: desist: it will be better for you: for God is one God: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is God as Disposer of affairs (171).

An-Naml (27:76)

Verily this Qur’an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree (76).

As-Syura (42:13)

The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah – that which We have sent by inspiration to thee – and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: namely, that ye should remain steadfast in Religion, and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than God, hard is the (way) to which thou callest them. God chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him) (13).

4 others surah that explain about this topic is on surah Al-Imran (3:84), An-Nisa’ (4:155-157,158-159,163,171,172), Al-Ma’idah (5:46,68), Az-Zukhruf (43:57,58,59,61,63), As-Saf (61:64)

.

All the surahs that had stated recognized Jesus as the God Messenger that had selected by Allah s.w.t.

Jesus is not the son of God

Based in al-Qura’an have five surah’s had explain about this aspect. Four from it as follow:

Surah Ali Imran 3:59

The similitude of Jesus before God is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: “Be” and he was (59).

Surah Al-An’am 6:85

And Zakariya and John[1]and Jesus and Elias: all in the ranks of the rightoues: (85).

Surah Al-Anbiya (21:26,91)

And they say: “(God) Most Gracious has begotten offspring.” Glory to Him! they are (but) servants raised to honour (26).

And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our Spirit, and We made her and her son a Sign for all peoples. (91)

Az-Zukhruf (43:81)

Say: “If (God) Most Gracious had a son, I would be the first to worship” (81)

Surah Maryam (19: 16-34) too had describe about Jesus as the son of Man, and refuse he is the son of God.

All of the verses had state about Jesus as the son of Man, and all of it had refuse Jesus as the son of God.

[1] The third group consists not of men of action, but Preachers of Truth, who led solitary lives. Their epithet is: “the Righteous.” They were mystic prophets and form a connected group round Jesus. Zakariya was the father of John the Baptist, the precursor of Jesus (3:37-41); and Jesus referred to John the Baptist as Elias: “this is Elias, which was far to come” (Matt 17:3). Elias is the same as Elijah (Cf. 37:123). [905]

THE DIVINITY OF JESUS FROM ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE

Islam are very appreciated Jesus, and as the appreciation to him, have one special surah (chapter) on al-Qura’an had dedicated to him that entitled with Mariam (The Mother of Jesus). On few chapter in al-Qura’an too, had state the name of Jesus, this shown that Islam had recognized Jesus as the one of respected prophet’s. However, on the contact of Divinity from Islamic Perspective, have five main questions that must describe in details. The question is about the story of Jesus on al-Qura’an as He isn’t the God, and not the son of God but He is as the God Messenger. For the answer, we can refer to al-Qura’an as follow:

Jesus is not the God

Have six chapters on al-Qura’an that describe about this aspect. One of the chapter is:

Surah al-Maidah, verse 72-73

They do blaspheme who say: “God is Christ the son of Mary.” But said Christ: “O Children of Israel! worship God, my Lord and your Lord.” Whoever joins other gods with God, - God will forbid him the Garden, the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help (72). They do blaspheme who say: God is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One God. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them (73).

The other chapters that describe about this aspect is Surah Mariam (19:36-37, 58), Al-Baqarah (2:253), Ali Imran (3:3), An-Nisa’ (4:136), Al-Maidah (5:17, 72-73,110-118), and Al-Hadid (57:27). All these verses in surahs of al-Qura’an had tell about Jesus are not the God.

ISLAM AFTER PROPHET MUHAMMAD S.A.W TIME

Basically Islam after the death of Prophet Muhammad is same with before and during the life of Muhammad s.a.w, especially about the thought of the Tauhid that compulsory to Muslims believe that have only One God (Allah s.w.t.) as said by the prophets and the messangers (Adam, Noah, Idris, Musa, Abraham, Ismail, Jesus and Muhammad) that had state in Al-Qur’an.

However, after a decade, have a few method had appear in Islam, this method found when the Ulama’ whose the members in this field had make their interpretation about the way of life in Islam. This had derived the existence the school of thought in Islam such as Hanafi, Hambali, Maliki, and Shafie. Even though they are poses their own school of thought, their still believed to the basic of Islam: The Rules of Iman and The Rules of Islam. However, the Syiah school of thought had exist, but it different from the others Islamic school of thought. HAMKA had says, in one time had happen four Imam must rotate while to prayer in one time of Solat, this happen because the disciples from other school of thought’s had refused to done solat if Imam from the other school of thought’s lead that solat. All of them are Muslim’s.

On 1925, after Mecca had govern by Ibn Sa’ud, Jemaah prayer in Masjidil Haram must done in once during in each solat time. HAMKA said “Thanks to King of Abdul Aziz Ibn Sa’ud that gathers the prayer again. Persian (Iran) and Arab has against between their self for a long time cause by the different of school of thought. On 1931 during the Islam congress at Palastine, All Ulama’ from sunnah members invited Maulana Al-Kasyif Al-Ghitha the most popular Najaf (Iraq) Mujahid Shiah school of thought. Is it this is the desprate problem?

ISLAM ON PROPHET MUHAMMAD S.A.W. TIME

Islam on Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. era are different from Jews religion that all it disciples believe to Prophet of Moses but not believe to Jesus, while the Christian believe to Jesus and Moses but refused to the existence of Muhammad s.a.w. as the last prophet that send by Allah s.w.t. to complete all thought that brought by the prophet and the messengers before him. However, all the disciples of the prophet’s before Muhammad are recognized as the Muslims, and their death are accepted in the faith of Islam. The appearance of Muhammad s.a.w. is to explain to all human kind, especially to the Children of Israel about the miss understanding on religion on that time, this is has proven through the al-Qur’an:

“Verily this Qur’an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree.”
(Al-Naml,27:76)

Islam on Muhammad s.a.w. time is a continuously from the religion that carried by the prophet’s before him with two special aspect’s. First, it is a complete religion as had state on al-Qur’an that consist 114 chapters (surah) on it. Second, Islam are not for only one race like Islam that brought by the previous prophets, Islam on Muhammad s.a.w era is for everyone in this world. Allah s.w.t. had said:

“We sent thee not, but as a mercy for all creatures.”
(Al-Anbiya',21:107)

ISLAM BEFORE THE TIME OF PROPHET OF MUHAMMAD S.A.W

Islam had begun during the time of Prophet Adam; this is completely before the time of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. Actually, Islam had spread by a hundred of Messengers and this thought had carried by a thousand of prophets. Have a few hadith had said there is about 124,000 of the prophet’s and 313 of Messengers. All of them had carried the Islamic thought. In Al-Qur’an (Q), it only state 25 Messengers, they are Adam (Q, Al-Baqarah 2:33), Noah, Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aron, Solomon, David (Q, Al-Nisa’ 4:163), Idris, Dhu al Kifl, (Q, Al-Anbiya’ 21:85), Hud, Salih (Q, Al-Hud 11:50,61), Syu’ayb (Q, Al-Ankabut 29:36), Moses, Zakariya, John, Lot, Jonas, Illias, Elisha (Q, Al-An’am 6:84-87) and Muhammad (Q, Muhammad 47:2). All thought of these prophet’s and messengers is focus on the thought of Tauhid (only believe to the One God), surrender and bow to Him with doing all His method that He had say and aborted what had He has warned. Al-Qur’an had states about this on al-Baqarah 2:132, which prove that all Abraham generation are Muslim’s.

“And this was the legacy that Abraham left to his sons! God hath chosen the Faith for you; then die not except in the Faith of Islam.”
(Al-Baqarah: 132)

“Say ye: “We believe in God, and the revelation given to us, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: we make no difference between one and another of them: and we bow to God (in Islam).”
(Al-Baqarah: 136)
