A CONSIDERATION: ISLAM = BUDDHA? (2)

Muhammad in Buddha Scriptures

Buddha had predicted that one man called “Maitreya” (kind full) will appeared. The prediction can see as below: (ibid page 112)

1. From the aspect of “Maitreya name”

In Chakkavanti Sinhaad Sulama 1). 111, 76, was describe “Will be born a Buddha that known with “Maitreya” as his name. Maitreya is holy person, the man who posses high authority in power, that was given a brilliant mind, the glorious and know about this world and what had he received from the other world, he will separate to all people in this world. Maitreya will preach his thought from the beginning until the end. Buddha has said that the Maitreya will introduce a perfect way of life as what I (Buddha) had introduce my religion. The Maitreya disciples are so many rather than my disciples (Buddha)".

In the book of “Secred Books of the East, volume 35, page 225 had been said with meaning “I’m not only one Buddha. After me will be born one more Buddha that known as Maitreya. He will posses a great character. If my disciples is in hundred of people he will posses a thousand of disciples."

The other prediction about Maitreya in the Buddhist scripture by Carus, page 217 and 218 from Ceylon with meaning,

“Ananda (the Buddha disciples) asked to Buddha:
“Who will teach us after you die?”

The Gautama Buddha was answered:
“I’m not the one and the last Buddha that send down to this world. After me, one more Buddha will send down again. He is the holy person that poses a high brilliant level, with good attitude; know about this world, the leader who will teach you one the truth religion and the person who will be loved by all creature. The religion that teaches by Buddha will be the permanent truth. If my disciples are in hundred peoples, he will have a thousand of disciples.

Ananda keep asking with the question:
How we will recognize this Buddha?

The Buddha answered:
He will known as Maitreya as his name.”

I'm sorry to disappoint you again, the Sutta quoted by Zakir was spelled wrongly, it is the Cakkavati Sihanada Sutta. When you read the complete excerpt, you will find that Zakir has hidden many Buddhist facts from you.The fact he hid from you will tell you Muhammad is definately not Mettaya. Here is the excerpt :

23.'Among the people who live with an eighty thousand-year life-span, girls will become marriageable at five hundred. And such people will know only three kinds of disease: greed, fasting, and old age. And in the time of those people this continent of Jambudipa will be powerful and prosperous, and villages, towns and cities will be but a cock's flight one from the next.
This Jambudipa, like Avici, will be as thick as with people as the jungle is thick with reeds and rushes. At that time the Varanasi of today will be royal city called Ketumati, powerful and prosperous, crowded with people and well-supplied. In Jambudipa there will be eighty-four thousand cities headed by Ketumati as the royal capital.

24. 'And in the time of the people with an eighty thousand-year life-span there will arise in the capital city Ketumati a King called Sankha, a wheel-turning monarch, a righteous monarch of the law, conqueror of the four quarters, who had established the security of his realm and was possessed of the seven treasures.
These are : the Wheel Treasure, the Elephant Treasure, the Horse Treasure, the Jewel Treasure, the Woman Treasure, the Householder Treasure, and seventh, the Counsellor Treasure.
He has more than a thousand sons who are heroes, of heroic stature, conquerors of the hostile army. He dwells having conquered this sea-girt land without stick or sword, by the law

25. 'And in the time of the people with eighty thousand-year life-span, there will arise in the world a Blessed Lord, an Arahant fully-enlightened Buddha named Metteyya, endowed with wisdom and conduct, a Well-Farer, Knower of the worlds, an incomparable Trainer of men to be tamed, Teacher of gods and humans, enlightened and blessed, just as I am now.
He will thoroughly know by his own super-knowledge, and proclaim, this universe with its devas and maras and Brahmas, its ascetics and Brahmins, and this generation with its princes and people, just as I do now. He will teach the Dhamma, lovely in the beginning, lovely in its middle, in the spirit and in the letter, and proclaim, just as I do now, the holy life in its fullness and purity. He will be attended by a company of thousands of monks, just as I am attended by a company of hundreds.

26. 'Then King Sankha will re-erect the palace once built by King Maha-Panada and having, lived in it, will give it up and present it to the ascetics and Brahmins, the beggars, the wayfarers, the destitute. Then, shaving off hair and beard, he will don yellow robes and go forth from the household life into the homelessness under the supreme Buddha Metteyya.
Having gone forth, he will remain alone, in seclusion, ardent, eager and resolute, and before long he will have attained in this very life, by his own super-knowledge and resolution, that unequalled goal of the holy life, for the sake of which young men of good equal family go forth from the household life into homelessness, and will abide therein.
